What does QuickCalo do?
QuickCalo estimates the calories and protein of your meal from a photo or a short text description, so you can log a meal in seconds instead of searching a food database and entering grams. You check the estimate, adjust it if needed and save it; the app shows your daily calorie and protein totals, what is left toward your goal and your history.
How does QuickCalo work?
QuickCalo works in three steps: take a photo or type, let the AI analyse it, then check, adjust and save.
- Take a photo or type. Snap your plate with the app's camera, or use "Add by typing" to describe what you ate (e.g. "2 slices of cheese, 1 bagel, tea").
- The AI analyses it. Foods, portion, calories and protein are estimated in a few seconds.
- Check, adjust, save. On the confirmation screen you can change the food name, portion and calories; the log stays on your phone.
What are QuickCalo's features?
QuickCalo's core features are photo and text calorie estimates, editable results, a personal calorie plan, protein tracking and recipes.
Photo analysis
Snap your plate and get estimated foods, portion, calories and protein.
Add by typing
Describe what you ate and the AI estimates it. Grams or millilitres you type are taken into account.
Editable results
Change calories, portion and food name before saving. The first name correction in each analysis is free.
Personal plan
A suggested daily calorie target and an estimated goal date range based on your profile and goal.
Protein tracking
Your daily protein total and a protein reference based on your weight.
Recipes
42 recipes in each language; one signature recipe is fully unlocked for everyone every day.
Does QuickCalo recognise Turkish food?
QuickCalo tries to recognise Turkish dishes by name, like any other cuisine, but as with every AI estimate it can be wrong. Dishes whose filling or oil is hidden, such as mantı or stews, are harder to estimate. If a dish is misidentified, correct its name on the confirmation screen and the analysis is refreshed. The Turkish version of the app also includes Turkish recipes.
Is QuickCalo free?
Yes, QuickCalo is free to download and gives you 3 free AI analyses every day; photo and text analyses share the same allowance, which resets at midnight. Premium is available as a monthly or annual subscription, with a 1 month free trial on the annual plan. In other countries, the local price is shown in the App Store, Google Play and the app.

Frequently asked questions
Is QuickCalo free?
Yes. QuickCalo is free to download and includes 3 free AI analyses every day. Premium (monthly or annual) removes the limit and unlocks all recipes, water tracking and the dietitian report; in the US it costs $1.99 per month or $14.99 per year, with a 1 month free trial on the annual plan.
Do I need an account?
No. QuickCalo does not ask for an email, password or account; your logs stay on your phone.
Can I calculate calories from a photo in my gallery?
Not at the moment: photos must be taken with the app's camera and cannot be picked from the gallery. For an older meal, you can describe it with "Add by typing".
How accurate are the results?
Results are estimates. Accuracy depends on how clear the photo is, how visible the portion is, and how much hidden oil or sauce the dish contains, so check and correct the result before saving.
Which languages does QuickCalo support?
The app is available in 4 languages: Turkish, English, Arabic and Indonesian. Analysis results come back in the language you choose.
Does QuickCalo store my food photos?
Photos are not saved to your gallery or meal logs; they are resized, stripped of EXIF data and sent to our server only for analysis, and the server does not write them to storage. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Which AI does QuickCalo use?
The analysis is done by an AI model from Google's Gemini family, and the result is then checked against fixed reference values.
